What is "testing of java applications "?

When a job requirement says that "experience in testing of java applications or testing of applications in vb is needed"; what are they exactly looking for? Where does the difference in testing lies exactly?

Can't say much more about it.But generally doing testing is not only responsibility a tester have but there are much more other then this.A tester have to wear many hats.A tester needs to be setup testing environment (of course after a specific experience in it).And some time may be company looking for a tester who can help in white box testing also, so they demand for particular programming language knowledge.
