    Hi Ruchi,

    Welcome to the IT Field.

Resume is the mirror which reflects your area of expertise. So while preparing your resume you should very clearly state the area in which you are strong, what are the skillsets you possess, the job you are looking for, and the Objective you have in your mind. A resume need not to be lengthy, but it should catchy in such a way that it attracts the Employers. Most of the companies will short list the people for the interview by looking into the Resume only.

While writing your resume make sure you follow the following things:
    - Well and clearly stated Objective
    - Your Educational Qualification listed out along with the University and the Percentage or Grade
    - Resume starting off with you Name, and your Contact details such as mail id and telephonic number
    - List out the skill sets which you are very strong like Operating systems, Languages, Scripts, Tools etc., Include only which you know very well since as a Fresher you will be questioned mostly on the skill sets you have mentioned.
    - Do not use more Bolds, Underline or Bullets. Use these only at the areas where it is necessary.
    - Include the current and the Projects which you have done at the Academics.
    - In the Projects mentioned include your roles and responsibilities.
    - Mention your Passport Number if you hold.

Hope the above points would have helped you.

    Regards,
    Ganesan

Re: How to write an effective resume

We have Sub Contractors as Vendor. Now we retain a fix percentage of work done by him say for example 10% as a guarantee of the work done to be paid at a later date after the work is completed which is called 'Retention Payable'. The total work done amount is credited to hic vendor payable account by Invoice Verification (MIRO) of service entry sheet. This deduction is made thru LPO. We get the Net payable amount thru MIRO. Remaining 10% we credit back thru Credit Note. T.Code FB60. The problem is that this retention payable amount goes to his payable account. Is there a way to credit this amount to a separate identifyable account to the same vendor (Sub Contractor) ?

Any SAP consultant please reply my question. Thanks Vinay

I was in the same position as you and as someone who has been duped by so many resume writing services and have spend upwards of $200 on them that I really just want to share what I've learned so that not everyone goes through it like I did.

Out of all of the extensive resume sites that I've used and tested, the best from personal experience is cvee.me/

It has helped me tremendously and I highly recommend that you at least check it out. Best of luck to everyone!

Just an addition and I find this effective. As you are writing, try not to use the same words over and over. Avoiding repetition will make your resume more exciting. Drop in some of the following action words to jazz things up a bit:

    Accomplished
    Achieved
    Attained
    Completed
    Created
    Delivered
    Demonstrated
    Enhanced
    Expanded
    Improved
    Increased
    Managed
    Obtained
    Performed
    Produced
    Secured
    Succeeded
    Surpassed
