just install 14day trial version of QTP9.2 from mercury website in your systam
IT has help file regarding explanation of vb script and qtp basics actually u can learn much more by using help file in that application
it also has flight application its a web application u can use for sample testing purpose!!!

hi ,
If you know how to write VBScript normally the there is no change in how you write in QTP. you can either write it as a function within the script or write an external function which can be called by multiple scripts by passing the normal parameters.
If you have any specific Q then please do mention that, will try to ans.

could u give me some information regarding checkpoints in QTP. I just want to knw hw to use checkpoints. And what r the advantages is there in using checkpoints
