I need diffrences between Object Identification, Smart
Identification, Regular expresion,Low-Level Recording
(enables you to record on any object in your application,
whether or not QuickTest recognizes the specific object or
the specific operation.)

I am working on Web Application. In that object caption
will change dynamically. For example, consider “Save”
button. On clicking save button the caption changing as “
EDIT ”. From above concept which concept I have to use here?

QTP object identification is sufficient for your scenario.

You have to edit your script,
For work on save button, why you are using name proeprty, you can use other properties for identification of object.

whether it's caption is changing or not, to test it, you can insert bitmap checkpoint.

[B]Object Identification:[/B] is used to Identify the object in our Application.

[B]Smart Identification:[/B]
If QuickTest is unable to find any object that matches the learned object description, or if it finds more than one object that fits the description, then QuickTest ignores the learned description, and uses the Smart Identification mechanism to try to identify the object.

You can use Regular Expression of frequentilly changed objects.
