How to create ASCII file in oracle with out using UTL package

Hi All,

I have been given task of creating an ASCII file with out using UTL package.

I need to dump data from one of the oracle table and dump the same in the ASCII file.

Any help on the above is much appreciated.

Try to use the Export utility.

set heading off
spool ASCIIFILE
select ename||','||eno||','||hiredate||','||sal from emp;
spool off
