What identifications are basically required when we the testers perform test design?
Hi,
When testers prepare the Test Design following things are required.
1. Pre-requisite necessary for the execution of the test case i.e., what are the mandatory items that are in place for the execution to happen. For example, the build has to be deployed for testing the newer version.
2. What are the access level needed for testing.
3. In which environment the test execution should be done.
4. Input data needed for that particular test case
5. Step Description or Action that will be performed in the test case
6. The Expected result that will be produced when particular action is done.
7. The condition necessary for the test case to either pass or fail.

The test design should specify the following sections:
1.Test design specification identifier
2.Features to be tested
3.Approach refinement
4.Test identification
5.Features pass/fail criteria
