Submit data from an external file

How to Submit data from an external file to a url using QTP

I would like to submit/load test data from an external source like a flat file or excel (multiple test cases in a file) and submit that test data to a url (application that I am testing). I need to capture the response that I get back from the application.

Can I do that using QTP ?

I am not sure if I entirely understand your question, but is this a load-testing exercise?

yes...if it is a load test then also parameterization works....

make a notepad ..
give datas...using , separated or feed data into a new line
getdata from script..


or u can use runtime data utilization tool
