Exit from a component

How to exit from a component while excuetion through QC?

I am executing a test case using Quality centre, test case contains 2 components and i want to exit from first component and continuing execution of second component.

I have used ExitTest and ExitTest Iteration but these exits whole execution, and i want to exit from that component and executing second component.

In QTP, if you want to exit from an action, you can specify a condition and instruct QTP to Exit from that Action by using:

"ExitAction"

Basically QTP Supports four types of exit

[B]ExitAction[/B]
it is used to exit from the action

[B]ExitActionIteration[/B]
it is used to exit the action iteration

[B]ExitRun[/B]
it is used to exit from the test

[B]ExitGlobalIteration[/B]
it is used to exit the global test iteration.

reasently i attend the interview that time he asked me,
what is the uses of CI and what purpose we use this CI?
i told to him,to do the field comparison of the record.is it correct or not
