Log Generation - JSP Application

Dear All,

In our unit, our stores department used to conduct online auction of scrape materials, every 3 months. Now the problem that i am facing is that the system is generating log in the at the time of auction. How can i stop this log generation. Whenever we see the log details, it is showing a table named
PS_TXN. What is this table for. How this table is created and why this log is generating. We have not created this table.

Please help me out in this matter.
