Re usable functions

Any body tell me about reusable functions/ user defined functions in QTP,
How to work with reusable/user defined functions in real time scenario.

hi Raj,

Reusable functions are called as Reusable actions in QTP. Reusable action have a wider scope as compared to normal actions.

They can be used multiple times as the name suggests.....

We can also have an external action which can be called across scripts.

User-defined functions can be coded as part of QTP files or can be coded as seperate .vbs files. These can be associated as library files under Run Settings. This would enable you to create a Library of functions which can be used across scripts as and when required.

What defference you find while testing the client server and web based applicatins

re usable funcation means simply we can say reapetely we can call the funcation when it nessary .we use this funcation in action sheet & we call when nessary

reusable functions means one we need to write the functions in the then in the script we call as many number of times we want , we can create in the library files & from there we can call it
