hai shiva shankar,
mainly by default the QTP Add-in manager provides three Add-ins,
--> ActiveX
--> Visual basic
--> web
and by default if we not select one add-in from these three, the QTP
automatically work based on standared windows environment.

The ADD-ins function is (means use) to maximize performance and object identification realibility.

Default addins:

1. Standard windows application
2. Web Object/Application
3. Activex controls
4. Visual basic
