what are different types files generated and their role in QTP

There are different files and folders generated when a QTP test is saved. They include .tsr, .mtr, .mts, .bdb, .cfg, .usp, .usr, .lck and .tsp files. I want to know what are these files and their role in QTP.

Hi I aam new to this Block. I have joined a company recently where i need to automate the testing the procedure.Please let me know if someone has any idea how to kick start a project in automation.Any Test Automation plan, automation architecture will be a great help
