Most projects are running on web technologies. So, it is better to work on Web technologies for your future
I feel it’s OK if you work for a project or two in Core Java as long as you don't loose your skills in Java Web Technologies. :eek:
Just keep practicing and manipulating your old Java Web programs and projects whenever you have time. Update yourself with newer versions of web technologies if any. :D
