Should website functionality work after disabling Java script?

As I know most of the website functionality does not work after disabling java script.What I say ; functionality should work, Ya, It is possible that interface becomes less user friendly.What you say?:confused:

What I feel the functionality related to Java Script will not be work not entire website, rest of the thigns will work fine. But as you know the developers use good amount of their Java Script knowledge while writing the Client Side Script so it leads to less user friendly :-)
