Major differences between WinRunner and QTP?

Hi all. This is my first question. Can you please explain the major differences between WinRunner and QTP? Also explain the common features in these 2 tools.

QTP supports multimedia applications
Winrunner doesnt support multimedia applications
QTP supports .net application
but winrunner doesnt
Note: Winrunner 8.2 supports .net applications
If u specify the path QTP automatically opens the applications
in case of winrunner it doesn't
