What is ""developing procedures and scripts (UNIX/Windows/Oracle)

I am trying to learn what a real time tester's job could be by reading ads for jobs. I read an ad where the job requirement says that "Responsible to develop procedures and scripts (UNIX/Windows/Oracle) to permit the portions of the system test cases to be automatically repeatable" ; what does a real time tester do on job? Thanks for educating me.

Here is how understand your question...

For an example, if there is a system that gets updated or changed with similar data using the same structure for all of the clients in the company.... So data might be different but not the structure of the data model... so that means , according to that job description, you would be responsible to create scripts and procedures can be either shell scripts or oracle stored procedures which can go though the new client data and validate before releasing the product for clients use production.
