Hi all,
"Whats Cliental (my spelling might by wrong may be Clientele) Testing?"
this was one of the questions put to me at interviews...
anybody any ideas regarding this? how to asnwer this questions?
does this have anything to do with testing done at clients end? something like port testing - testing conducted after installing the s/w at the clients site?
any discussion would be helpful.
I think it is [U]User Acceptance Testing[/U] that your interviewer was talking about.:confused:
I think this is related to testing at the client side.May be Beta testing??
Client side testing is user acceptance testing.It is conducted at client side as well as in company also, depends on the nature of application.
I feel that was a very vague question.. i should have insisted on knowing more about what he was trying to ask me...

its known as CLIENTELE Testing..
as the name goes, its done at the clent's environment by the testing team..
basically it depends which kind of application is that.. if its a product-based application the set of beta-testers will be doing it in the test-environment only, and if its a service-based application then this CLIENTELE testing is done..
hey sksanath you told what was CLIENTELE Testing , could you elaborate more on this, this is a new word which i had come across

[B]Cliental Testing[/B] is also same as User Acceptance testing
[B]Input domain Testing:[/B] During this testing we are observing to validate type and size of every input object apart from this whether it is taking correct inputs and giving correct outputs w.r.t inputs.
To perform this testing we are also using 2 mathemetical notations.

1. BVA (Boundary Value analysis)
2. ECP (Equivalence Class Partition)
By using these techniques we can minimise testcases preparation

Dear Bharathi,
I am not getting you.Whether you are talking about functional testing or Input domain Testing or Input domain Testing is subset of functional testing?
Client side testing is user acceptance testing.It is conducted at client side as well as in company also, depends on the nature of application.
