Does anybody know how to terminate a JCL

Does anybody know how to terminate a JCL? As I know one way is to code the null(//) statement at the end of the JOB or else we may leave the JOB as it is. But i want to know is there any other way to terminate JCL?

perhaps this will help you (I hope, everything is correct, what I´ve written)
I guess you can set Time parameter at beginning in job: TIME=(x,y)
I guess, there are seconds given, so if you key in "TIME=(,5)" (e.g. after notify-parameter), your job will be stopped after 5 seconds.

You can do it in 3 ways.

1. The direct ans is null stmt //.
2. Thru time parameter
3. thru condition papameter

I´ve had an equal question and got answear:
"2. Thru time parameter
3. thru condition papameter".

Do you mean 'terminate' as in denote the end of the JCL being input? If you do mean this, are you submitting the JCL through CICS to the INTRDR?
Or do you mean 'terminate' as in cancelling a running job?
