[B]PURPOSE OF THE JOB:[/B]

The QA Analyst will be accountable for assuring the quality of business critical software used by YUM, All Domestic Brands, and some YRI, and China clients. The QA Analyst will be responsible for planning and executing tests, both manual and automated on Yum! Center Systems software. The QA Analyst will be working with business analysts, clients, and developers to validate project quality and performance. The focus of this position will mainly be web based applications. (i.e. Restaurant Portal, ARL Portal, Yum Web Applications, YumLink, RFA, User Provisioning, Web Services, Tivoli, LMS, HMS, and iChing).

[B]JOB FUNCTIONS:

Have expert knowledge of HP testing tools including setup, configuration, scripting, execution, and upgrades of Quality Center, QTP, BPT, Service Test and LoadRunner.
The ability to read and understand business, functional, and technical specifications as well as other technical documents.
Develop test plans and cases from requirements, functional and technical design documentation.
Execute test cases, both manual and automated and clearly document issues discovered in ClearQuest.
Perform SQL data queries to define and validate test scripts.
Participate in the peer review of design documents.
Serve as QA representative on project teams
Work with clients, developers, and business analysts to design, test, and implement software through our release management process.
Minimum Requirements
[B]EDUCATION: [/B]
Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems or related field


[B]EXPERIENCE[/B] (and other qualifications):
· 2-3 years experience with HP’s test management, automated testing, and performance/load testing software tools.
· 2-3 years QA or Programming experience.
· 2-3 years web application experience in programming or software support with emphasis on Web Sphere Portal, Web Services, and third party business web applications.
· 1 -2 years of SQL and data analysis experience.
