find current and previous profession...

Messrs Butcher, Baker, Carpenter and Plumber are currently attending an annual convention. No-one is currently, nor ever has been in the same profession as their name and no-one has had the same profession twice. Charlie has never been a carpenter and Mr Butcher is now a plumber. Dave used to be a butcher, whereas Mr Brian Baker never has. Mr Plumber is not called Eddie and Mr Carpenter did not used to be a butcher. Can you determine the full names of each of the attendees, along with their current and previous profession?

JUst read my entries column wise.That is

Brain baker was initially a baker and now he is a carpenter.
Charlie was initially a plumber and now a butcher.. ANd so on..

Raju, every person have a name with profession...it means mr brain baker means mr brain was his name and baker was main profession...so mr brain baker never has a profession "baker"....look at barbie's reply....every person have profession with their name and then have current and previous profession...

I think you got my point....if you have doubt then post here...

Every persons last name is also a profession. you should mentioned that too along with their first name.
you have to find out their name and then their present and previous profession.

Think there is some discrepency with the question...
If the condition., dave used to be a butcher is relaxed., then the solution is possible..

Anyways., i tried all possible combinatios but finding a bit difficult to get.. Could u please let out the answer if u know the solution.. Im fiding difficult to resist:)

But charlie has never been a carpenter.Will that imply that his name can contain the profession of a carpenter??

Nothing to do with the name.
It means he is never been a carpenter by profession.
