Add drop columns in Sybase ASE 15.0

I want to drop columns from a table using alter table.

I have used alter table drop column

This gives me syntax error.

Can anyone please let me know how to add / drop columns to table in ASE 15.0

The Syntax remains the same to add or drop a column.

Alter table <tablename> add/drop column <columnname>

we cannot drop a computed column.
