how to add text check point within Expert View

If I record I would have the image in the "Active Screen" so that I can highlight the text then add the checkpoint.

In tead of recording, Typing in the expert view will not have image to highlight. How I add the text checkPoint?

Please give me direction quickly.

u have to use the menu item for the check point..select the text checkpoint item and then focus the control.

TextcheckPoint is what I need. However, the options in the menu (rigth-click or toolbar) are disabled. the only item I can select is databasecheckpoint.

What Can I do?

For adding the ceckpoint QTP needs to be in the recording mode.

Run your script in update mode. Active screen will capture screen images, then you can insert checkpoints what ever you want.

You can Add a Checkpoint while recording mode or after your recording is compleated. Right click and insert standard check point, the Checkpoint Properties open select the text in the check box, you can either insert statement befor the current step or after current step. Preferable is after.If the check point fails increase the checkpoint timeout from 10 secounds to 50 secounds. Click ok.
