Let's define quality in our own terms.
I am not talking about software quality.
I am talking about "QUALITY" in general?
So, what you say, what quality is?
Quality is meant by supporting relationships by assessing , anticipating and fulfilling declared and implied needs of intending user.
Quality refers to achivements or excellence of an object/product/project or anything it may be which meets customer needs.
A specific characterstic of an object is called quality
Quality is about:
> using what you learn to develop your organisation and its services
> seeking to achieve continuous improvement
> satisfying your stakeholders - those different people and groups with an interest in your organisation.
Quality of an object which qualifies its capacity to do something.
Quality of a human, which is used to judge the weight of his knowledge.
What you say about this definition?
Quality is the faith of customer.
faith of customer
A good phrase used.
Let me frame a sentence using the same phrase.
A quality work is “work done to accomplish a task that helps us gain customer's faith”.
Hi,
Here I can give you the definitions for quality, Which i know.
they are:

1.A Product or Project is said to be a quality one, when it satisfies implicit and
explicit requirements of the customer.

"Quality is not defined in the product, Quality is defined in customer mind."
Quality is the capacity of an object to execute its work satisfactorily.
Quality of an object more simply defined is fitting to its use or purpose (ie if a object performs its job satisfactorily) then it is of good quality....
For an example:If an gear which is not made properly, but it can be used in a sugercane extracting machine and it extracts the required amount of juice from it the it is said to be of good quality..
Quality in terms of engineer's is acheving the required standards specified by the customer.
Quality: Degree of perfectness
According to me Quality is a Fitness for Use.
Quality is
"Matching one's requirements"
if we are satisfied with the quality of a product, may be the other person may not find that it is up to his quality.... (his requirements)
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks
Krishna.
-The Undertaking of a New Action brings New Strength--
Rajaputra's definition of quality is pretty close to mine. If the customer is not happy with the product that has been given to him, then quality requirements have not been met.
So, my definition of quality is as follows:
"Quality can be defined as the conformance of a product to customer's requirement."
Other definitions of quality are inappropriate because the customer might have a very different perception about how fit and perfect a product really is, and might not necessarily match your perception. And even though an absolutely flawless product is always desired, it certainly does not ensure quality.

The One which is Mangeable and Measurable is called as Quality
Quality is customer's satisfaction. It's for the first time and forever.
Basically quality has certain parameters with respect to product, Delivery and Service bounded by Time limit.
Quality means actuality = expectation.
Hi,
In simple Quality means, Fullfillment of customer requirements withen certain time and cost.
let's define quality in our own terms. I am not talking about software quality.
