Using Rejected Rows
My mapping is like this: source(emp), sq, filter transformation & target. The filter condition is deptno=10.
In this deptno 20 & 30 will be rejected.
Can I use these rejected rows in the same mapping?
If yes, What is the way?

Re: Using Rejected Rows
You can't use filtered records in mapping. If you want to use them in further transformation then use Router instead of Filter.
...Thx

You can't get the rejected rows after filering out them by susing the Filter Transformation.
One of the difference between the Filter and Router -
YOu can divert the unmatched record to the default group by using Router where as in filter, you are unable to get the rejected (unmatched ) records, as the filter will not divert them to rejected/Bad file.
As sriram told go for ROUTER to fulfill your requirement.
Hope this provided the adequate info.

Re: Using Rejected Rows
Hi,
In the filter trans we can just give single condition and we cannot find the rejected records , for u r query it’s better to workout in router trans u may clarify u r doubt.

Hi,
I use Powermart 5.1 and have a problem with rejected data.
I am using Update Strategy transformation to reject records that fail the
validation. My requirement is to have all invalid records into the reject
file.
