starting a new iteration if test fails
I have created a test with a number of iterations (from information in my data sheet). I expect the test the fail at certain points and what i am trying to do is write the test so that once a test has failed during a test run the test will return to the beginning and start on the next iteration - I don't want it to keep going once it has failed at any point.
Is this possible? If so how do i do it?

Re: starting a new iteration if test fails
You can use a Recovery Scenario.
In the Post-Recovery Condition, you can set Recovery Scenario so that it will Restart the current Test Run. This way, QTP won't proceed with test run. Instead, it will start the test all over again. Similarly (and I think this is what you are looking for), you can use the Recovery Scenario to "Proceed to Next Test Iteration."

Hi
I think the data wt you have creatde in data table does not match with the application data.
Check once let me know do have same error.....
Re: starting a new iteration if test fails
Automation tool should run all iteration, even if one fail, so your tool is well behaving. If you want so stop it on fail you can stop it manually, but if it stop itself, then it's QTP bug, and against the concept of automation testing.
