Zeus Learning Aptitude Test Question

Dear Friends i had attended zeuslearning . com aptitude test, most of the questions were tricky, one of them is as follows,please help in solving the same

A cryptanalyst must translate into letters of all digits included in the following two lines of nine symbols each

2 2 3 3 4 4 5 7 8

The cryptanalyst has already determined some of rules governing the decoding

Rule 1-Each of the digits from 2 to 9 represents exactly one of the eight letters
A,E,I,O,U,R,S,T.

Rule 2-Each letter is represented by exactly one of the digits. If a digit occurs more than
once it represents the same letter on each occasion.

Rule 3-The letter T and the letter O are each represented exactly 3 times.

Rule 4-The letter I and the letter A are each represented exactly 2 times.

Rule 5-The letter E is represented exactly 4 times.

Based on above solve following Questions

Q1. If 9 represents vowel,it must represent which of following

Option 1- A

Option 2- E

Option 3- I

Option 4- O

Option 5- U

Q2. If 8 represents vowel which of the following must represent a consonant

Option 1- 2

Option 2- 4

The questions are quite easy to solve. I made a table of row has all letters and colom has digits. Likewise i have solved all the questions correctly. They are..

Q1) Answer Option 5 - U

Q2) Answer Option 5 - 9 ( I think consonent means speech sound by stopping flow of air..so i pronounciate all and guessd this ans nd its right..):D

hina, consonant is the antonym for vowels.
alhabets that r not vowels are consonant.
and the answer for 4 th is 1. the 4th option is absolutely wrong.

if ans for q3 is I, then value for I is 5;
hence ans fr q4 should be 4 as only that option has I at the 3rd position which is 5
or else der is some mistake in the options bcoz then 4 and 6 dnt fit.....
4 is a consonant so it cannot b options 1, 2 or 3

can ne1 tell me abt the zeus tectnical test???

what kind of programs r asked in technical test?

can anyone explain...y option 4 is not correct one in 4th que ??

T and O used 3 times and the numbers used 3 times are 6 and 4,
I and A used 2 times and the numbers used 2 times are 2,7 and 5,
E used 4 times and the number used 4 times is 3...

now if five digit message is 46536 then answer must become option 1 or option 4..
but answer of question 3 is option-1 I. it means digit 5 means I. so the right answer is option-4.. :-)

guys plz share Interview experience at zeus learning..............plz replyy.

@ahujaremix.......i appeared for Zeus Learning Technical test.....it was a 3 Hrs subjective written test. Programs asked were non-standard out of the book type. there were total 5Q. mostly they had asked programs based on arrays and looping logic.....they had mentioned at the top of Q paper that the purpose of the exam was to evaluate logical and problem solving skills and NOT the syntax of languages.....

Friends i have attended the 1st round of Zeus learning that was round based on aptitude(logical skills and analytic skills).there were 25 question you need to solve in 60 min.Question weren't difficult, but yes they were tricky. I cleared the 1st round.

The 2nd round was on technical knowledge (but i think they want problem solving skills as written on paper).There were 5 program you have to write within 3 hrs(180 min). Yes time was enough and also programs were easy but i think if you want get select you have to try different skills to solve this programs.

I am still waiting for results of 2nd round. Anyone knows when will they declare it??
Any past reference about results of 2nd round.

Hello friends this is comment regarding my last post.I got call from Zeus Learning like "you have been short-listed for the Interview" after about 18 days.
The interview was technical cum HR interview.There were 2 interviewer(one for tech and another for HR). Both were helpful. They started with about myself, hobbies n all (for about 10-15 min) and later on its got converted in to technical interview.They asked about my project(They were interested in my WEB project),then 2 puzzles and some what theoretical question on C/C++, and about 4 question on program (Optimize,find logical error,write a code) .Overall it wasn't that difficult.
Now again i am waiting for their call.if any doubt please free to ask.
