what is mean by routing protocol and routed protocol ?
A routing protocol sends and receives routing information packets to and from other routers.
A routed protocol can be routed by a router, which means that it can be forwarded from one router to another.

routing protocols are those protocol which are decided the best path for data packet which we want to send destination...routing protocols are RIP,IGRP,OSPR,EIGRP

routed protocols are those protocol which woks to send the our data packet to destination which selected by the routing protocol....routed protocols are IP, IPX, APPLETALK.......
hello,
plz tell me how to creat digital signature?
Hi,
Digital signatures are created and verified by cryptography.
Digital signatures use what is known as "public key cryptography" which employs an algorithm using two different but mathematically related "keys":
one for creating a digital signature or transforming data into a seemingly unintelligible form,
&
the other key for verifying a digital signature or returning a message to its original form.
Computer equipment and the software which use two those keys are often referred to as an "asymmetric cryptosystem".
The complementary key of an asymmetric cryptosystem for digital signatures is arbitrarily termed the private key, which is known only to the signer and is used to create the digital signature, and the public key, which is generally more widely known and is used by a relying party to verify the digital signature.
Thanks,
Riju.
A digital signature is a term used for marking or signing an electronic document by a process meant to be analogous to paper signatures, but which makes use of a technology known as public-key cryptography.
In other words, it's a digital code that can be attached to an electronically transmitted message that uniquely identifies the sender and insures that the document has not been altered in any way since the sender has signed it.
Digital signatures are created and verified by cryptography, the branch of applied mathematics that concerns itself with transforming messages into seemingly unintelligible forms and back again.

Hi,
Routing Protocol is that who decides the path of Packet like RIP , OSPF, IGRP & IGRP.
routing protocol sends and receives routing information packets to and from other routers.
A routed protocol can be routed by a router, which means that it can be forwarded from one router to another.
A routed protocol contains the data elements required for a packet to be sent outside of its host netowkr or network segment. In other words, a routed protocol can be routed.
Thanks
Mohit
Routing Protocol is used to learn Best Route to send the packets on network. along with the learning routes, selecting best routes, sending the learned the routes to other devices and the ost imprtant is the convergence..Routing protocol's are RIP,RIPv2,IGRP,EIGRP,OSPF,BGP etc.
Routed Protcol is uded for end to end delivery of the Packets with the help of Routing Protocol.. Routed Protocol's are IP. IPX Appletalk etc...
