Pro*C was coming as embedded package with Oracle. Pro*C is not embedding C langauge in between SQLs. It is the otherway round.
Pro*C supports entire systax of C programming language + an additional library of functions for interaction with database.
People used use Pro*C for report generation in earlier days of Oracle. Now, it is almost obsolete.
