Thread: Load N no of files in target in one session

Please let me know how to load N no of files in target in one session ie not seprately

I have 5 flat files having same structure and i want to load them in the target in one job
The solution suggested was:

As you have told, There are 5 files which should be processed at a time.


Keep the Path of these 5 files in a file.

Then come to Informatica Workflow designer, create the session for this.


In Session properties, Goto Mappings tab ---> select Sources
In Source properties, under File Reader tab

Select the following as -
Source File directory - {Provide the path of the file containing the path of 5 files}
Source file name - {Provide the file name of the file containing the path of 5 files}
Source type - Indirect


By execution of this session, It will process the 5 flat files at a time.

But my question is, in mapping designer what will be source and what will be the target
and you will link source and target
