    Execution Time In SQL

    Can anyone tell of how to check the time of execution of a stored procedure in SQL 2000 and do any one have any idea of the steps for query optimization? Thanks in advance.

    U can use

    Wait for delay'00:00:02'
    selct * from table

    (or)

    Wait for Time'10:00'
    selct * from table
