    How do you improve the Query performance in Teradata

    How do you improve the Query performance in Teradata? I know that in ORACLE we use the HINTS. Can some one tell me the Tips/Tricks?

    by collecting statistics on the column .u can improve the performance

    definately, collecting stats is very effective.... You can also try using GTT tables. If a query is long and have lots of joins and derived tables.. GTT is the best option. Because you cannot use collect stats on derived columns.
