what is sticky thread!!!

can someone tell what is sticky thread in this community!!!

i have come across quite a few sticky threads!!

It is actually Sticky Board Thread. It means it contains the unanswered question. Moderators have the power to move the unanswered quesiton into sticky board. There is no special about sticky threads other than this.

does sticky increases importance to the threas?!?!?

The only thing is moderators want to show these are all threads yet to be answered.
