    Re: any clue?

    According to me, the answer is 136.

    There is a time zone difference of 120minutes between LA and Chicago. And her watch by itself is off by (23-7) = 16 minutes.

    I hope I am right

    Cheers!

    Re: any clue?

    Yes kalayama, Your answer should be correct.

    I am not sure of the difference in time zone between LA and Chicago, but I know that the difference in time zones of USA is always divisible by 30 minutes.

    +16 (23-7) factor is absolutely correct. There is no doubt about that.

    The answer is say X + 16.

    A) X + 16 = 90
    X = 90-16 = 74 --- not divisible by 30.

    B) X + 16 = 104
    X = 104-16 = 88 --- not divisible by 30.

    C) X + 16 = 120
    X = 120-16 = 104 --- not divisible by 30.

    D) X + 16 = 136
    X = 136-16=120 --- divisible by 30.

    So, the answer should be 136.
