    why two different think times?

    Hi

I am working on an application under citrix environment. I recorded a script in VuGen. I enabled run-time think-time settings "As Recorded". When I replay script in Vugen I got below info in Output window.

Why recorded think_time on line 9 is different from think-time in transaction at line 10?

    Action.c(9): lr_think_time: 17.00 seconds.
Action.c(10): Notify: Transaction "transaction_01" ended with "Pass" status (Duration: 40.1583 Think Time: 17.0068).

    Thanks

The think times are the same. Just line 9 is truncated.

Re: why two different think times?

It is realy a good question, beacause it is not answered by HP. Everyone knows that there is nothing 100% perfect & accurate in this world, as so the VuGen. During the execution timelines it takes so many redirections & command passages to complete single event. So during this task there is a lapse at many layers( app layer, network layer, server layer). And the same way there is such latency with OS also. this time capturs this latency which is very minimal (un noticable).

So don't worry to much about it. It has happened, It is happening & It will happen....
