    Change the Format of Text file

    I want to change the format of a text file . I am operating with UNIX operating system. What is the UNIX command I can use for achieving this purpose.

    You can use the command newform in UNIX to change the format of text file. This command newform takes the input from files if filename is given or take the input from standard input generally keyboard and gives the output in standard output generally display screen. Depending on the options specified in this command the formatting is done on the input and formatted output is produced.
