    About XCOPY

Does the XCOPY command in DOS operating system copy the hidden or system files?

    Re: About XCOPY

I think the XCOPY command in DOS 6 does not copy hidden or system files. If you want to copy hidden or system files then you should use the ATTRIB command and turn off the hidden or system attributes from the hidden or system files.

The XCOPY command by default does not copy hidden files but when used with "\h" it copies the hidden files or system files.
