    Re: Test Procedure

Main test procedure is write test case, review them and execute them and then report bug if any.

Other (Test Plan,Test Strategy and order of execution of Test Cases) what we do is called test process.

    Re: Test Procedure

A Test Plan. The test plan is what you agree with your customers that you are going to test. For example I shall test this office suite to see if it will allow me to print. I will not test this program to see if it is a cabbage. It seems abit obvious but without a test plan you can end up in a endless cycle of testing...pushing every single button you can find just to see what it does. This is usually derived from the Business Case or a Business Owner View. ..............So the Test plan is 'What are you are going to Test'

Test Strategy...How are you going to test it. Who What When Where.....I have arranged 15 children to test this business suite on top of a mountain. Well is the program going to be used by children would they be expecting to use it sitting on top of a mountain. Well no so you strategy should lay out your plans to create and testing environment. This package will be used by Business Analysts in a office environment on a certain standard of machine. The Strategy will also document how you will report errors....
