    Hey Kumar!
you haven't specified which tool you are using. BusinessObjects has different method of creating cascading prompts than Cognos.

if you can tell us on which tool you are looking forward to create cascading prompts, it would be easy to help you.

    cheers,
    Patrick.

Re: Can anyone help me to apply Cascading (nested) prompt

i had created one in version 5.1.2
here i wil take an example as like if there is a state and when we select a state then it should give me the District in that state.like if i click on CA then I should get the places in CA in the other Prompt.

    1)Open the UNV
2)Select the Object go to the properties. For Eg :"STATE"
3)Click the Edit button you will get a query panal.
4)In the condition drag the District.
    5)Run
    6)Check automatic refresh when used.
    7)Save
