Thread: Books or website Reference

I have learnt some graphics programming and I want to do games programming. But I want to have some ideas and tips for doing the same. Can someone suggest a good books or sites for games programming

You can refer to books of Yashvant Kanetkar to do these types of programming. But what I would suggest would be know the abilities and features from books at a glance one should spend more time on their own to have more creativity and thoughts to build these types of games programming rather than on books.
