One of the Text Output Values is not stored in the Run-Time Data table.

    Hi,

I am brand new to QTP and we have QTP 8.2.

I am running a test with 10 Search Keywords in the Data Table, capturing the Search Results with the Text Output value, and storing the same in the Data Table. When the test is done, in the Test Results, I could see 9 Search Results in the Run-Time Data. But, the 7th Search Result is not stored and I didn't find any error or failed iterations. Could any one please help me in resolving this problem?

Thank you so much and I would really appreciate your help.

    Thanks,
    Bavani.

    hi Bavani,

I hope you have written descriptive programming if it so then check the call statement you have written i suspect some error will be there.

    Thanks

Thank you very much for your suggestion, Deepasree. But, I haven't written any descriptive programming. So, I don't know where to check for the call statement and one more thing is, it's not always the 7th Search Result. Sometimes, it's 3rd or sometimes everything gets stored too. So, I really have no idea.

    Thanks,
    Bavani.

    hi Bhavani,

Recheck your code what you have written, the problem is with seventh test search. Else one more suggestion paste the code here.

    Hi,
Before capturing the search resluts, put wait statement.
So that, qtp will capture every search result.

If it is not work, please let me know.

Looks like YOur problem is with the rendering since there is not enough information abt the environment soits difficult to suggest anything but you can try with the synchronization time increase. if this don't help you please write some more details and paste part of the code here.

    Yes!

The wait and the sync. time helped.
