    what is the use of the ajax and what is the difference b/w the ajax and javascript

    Ajax means asynchronous javascript and XML. This is the combination of javascript and xml. It means when we write javascript code through ajax, we call server asynchronously and the return string from server we get as XML string and it parse by ajax and convert into javascript. And by using this we can refresh the part of a page, not whole page.

    But if we use only javascript, we can do some type of validation. U can't get data from server asynchronously.U can't refresh part of a page.

    That means ajax is faster than javascript.
