    It falls under the "Black box" Testing. as we are not dealing with the internals ( Source code ) of the application..

    Hi Gupta,

    Localization testing is definitely Black box testing, as the testing is done against the requirements and not done against the code. In the White box testing we will validate against the code. But in the localization testing we validate whether the application is as per the requirements after it is localized to preferred settings.

    Localization translates the product UI and occasionally changes some initial settings to make it suitable for another region
