Thread: testing reports

hello all

can everyone plz offer their expertise on some of the best and most efficient ways to test reports? (ie.......crystal reports)

to make sure that the data on the report is valid and that the design of the report is user friendly and comprehensive

Hi, Here are my inputs on this...

When we are testing any report we have to check the following in it...
1. Font
2. Alignment
3. Size
4. Most importantly Data in the report (whether we are getting what is expected or not)
5. Calculation in the report have to verified..

One more thing is user friendlyness, once the report is generated all the required information should be shown in the report.
