    Regarding PS file

    PS file is having LRECL 100, data is receiving/updating only 96 bytes and for remaining 4 bytes we need to save 8 bytes information how to do this.

    I'm sorry to answer this, but "It depends."

    You could use PD data, but that requires 5 bytes. I would recommend storing it in binary format
