    Please explain the difference between deadlock and starvation.

    Deadlock means end of resource utilization. In other words there is a total halt for a process to proceed for lack of resource. Whereas Starvation implies that there is a short coming/deficit of resource which may be overcome or not hence leading to Deadlock.
