    Explain this term

Recently when I was studying UNIX I happen to come across the term UUCP. What is this term? I could not get information about this term. Is this related to UNIX?

    Re: Explain this term

UUCP is called as UNIX-to-UNIX Copy Protocol. Yes it is related to UNIX. It is a set of UNIX programs for copying or in other words sending files between different UNIX systems and for sending commands to be executed on another system.
