    Hello.

I am Masters in Software Engineering but unfortunately i didnt get the chance to work in software engineering environment professionally. I have a good understanding of .NET and Java and also have developed some projects. Currently I am working in a multinational bank but in a network department from 2 yrs. As you said your studies are not in networking but you have worked on it for 2 years. By this time you must have learned / gained a lot. But if u change to Software side you can but u need to start everything from grassroot level. Your H/w exp will not be counted in S/W. And soing some projects to submit for college course and woring in realtime is totally different.
