Can anybody explain me what is document management? For a tester is that managing test plans, test cases, requirement documents, senario cases etc along with risk analysis? If yes, then what kind of tools are used to manage documentation? Like TestDirector or so? What are the common databases used for it? How they are located and updated ? Using SQL?Appreciate response.Thanks.

Actually it depends on company to company and project to project.
Some company use their own tools.
Some company purchases like test director or other configuration management tool.

Even some companies does a little bit documentation only.
