    replace the symbols...

    Using the mathematical symbol(+/-*) to replace the $ symbol and make the following equation correct.

    (9 $ 1) $ (7 $ 6) $ (8 $ 4) = 3

    (9 - 1) - (7 - 6)- (8 - 4) = 8-1-4 = 3
