I got the answer as 4...
The way i got is 6 has taken the place of 4 and 8 has taken the place of 6. So 4 should take the place of 8. Similarly 5 should take the place of 9.
So i think 4 should be the answer...

Ya,you all are right.The answer is 4.I was waiting for that answer who show the way how he or she has solved it.Manoj did that.

But friends, this type of questions have many way to solve them.
One may be,
1 then 1+1=2 then 2+1=3, then 3+3=6,
Now
9 then 9-1=8 then 8-1=7 then 7-3=4.

I know it's not a right way to solve it.

One more solution.
All of you have used telephone, then visit the no. clockwise and you will get 4.
